Weddings
A wedding is not one event but four in a row: the ceremony where the vows have to be heard, the drinks reception with music underneath it, the dinner with speeches, and the dancing. Each asks for something different, and rarely for the same kit.
Vows are either heard or they are not; there is no middle. We use a white column speaker that sits into the decor instead of breaking it, a headset mic for whoever is officiating — hands free — and a handheld wireless one that passes along for the readings.
Background music that covers the area without making anyone raise their voice. It plays from a phone over Bluetooth: no laptop, no technician, no cables across the garden. The playlist is yours.
A wireless microphone that moves between tables, and an 85-inch screen if you want the video or the photos on it. The sound is tuned to the room before anyone walks in.
This is where the kit changes. An 18" subwoofer so the bass is felt through the floor, and DJ equipment if a DJ is coming or if you would rather play from a USB stick yourselves.
